"The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.” -Thich Nhat Hanh
I believe in living a balanced, whole life. I believe that inner healing is within our grasp. As your therapist, I bring years of training, experience, and energy to our relationship.
I graduated from three years of Master's-level schooling with a degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology at Chestnut Hill College, and a year of additional certification at Caldwell College. These four years of intensive training led to a year-long internship at a psychiatric unit for adolescents. After finishing this, I began to work as a private clinician in NJ and then in Downingtown, PA, where I continue to practice today.
Over my years of private practice, I have primarily worked with women, focusing on women's issues as well as anxiety, spirituality, depression, anger, sexuality, abuse, and more. I have taught classes and seminars on anxiety & worry, healthy eating, and holistic living. I have also received additional mentoring by prominent therapists in the field of spirituality and Dream Work.
I strive to create a supportive community for my clients, working with their doctors, nutritionists, and others to fully address the issues they bring to my office.
My style as a therapist is very affirming and respectful of the needs and pace of my clients, as well as open to new ideas and creative interventions.
